We’re excited to introduce Live Beyond You: The Service Challenge (LBY Service Challenge), an innovative charity competition designed to empower non-profits to achieve their goals and make a lasting impact.
What is the Live Beyond You Service Challenge?
Live Beyond You: The Service Challenge is a dynamic, competitive event that brings together charities, fans, and corporate sponsors in a united effort to drive positive change. This competition is structured to provide resources, visibility, and support to participating charities while engaging communities and supporters in meaningful ways.
Here’s how it works:
1-for-1 Impact Model: Every album bundle purchased triggers a matching donation from a corporate sponsor, ensuring that every purchase supports both the artist and the nominated charity. This model amplifies the impact, providing immediate funds to the charities while raising awareness for their causes.
What Makes Beyond Me Initiative Unique and How Do We Create Social Impact?
Beyond Me Initiative combines the 1-for-1 Impact Model with the Live Beyond You Service Challenge to raise funds, increase awareness, ensure financial transparency, and make a tangible social impact.
The 1-for-1 Impact Model establishes a direct and meaningful connection between a fan’s music purchase and a charitable donation. The Live Beyond You Service Challenge is the platform through which this impact is realized.
How It Works:
Fan Purchase: When a fan buys a digital album bundle—which includes the album’s lyric booklet, visual music video performances, a behind-the-scenes documentary, and a documentary on the social impact of their purchase—they’re not just getting music. They’re also supporting a larger cause and promoting positive, uplifting content.
Corporate Sponsor Match: For each digital album bundle sold, a corporate sponsor matches the fan's purchase with a donation of equal value to designated charities involved in the Live Beyond You Service Challenge (LBY Service Challenge). For example, if a fan buys an album for $15, the corporate sponsor donates $15 toward the LBY Service Challenge. Charities participating in the challenge have the opportunity to win a portion of the humanitarian funds allocated for the initiative.
Double Impact: This model ensures that every purchase supports both the artist and a charitable cause, effectively doubling the impact. Fans can feel good knowing that their support for the music also contributes to meaningful social change, fostering a sense of community and purpose.
Promoting Social Good through the Live Beyond You Service Challenge: The 1-for-1 model encourages corporate sponsors to engage in philanthropy, fostering social responsibility while increasing funds for charitable initiatives. The LBY Service Challenge empowers fans and charities alike to make a measurable impact. Fans nominate their favorite charity into the challenge by purchasing a digital album bundle. This purchase, matched by a corporate sponsor through the 1-for-1 model, allows fans to enter their charity into the competition. They then assemble a team, register their charity on Beyond Me’s website (LBYServiceChallenge.com), and engage in local service with their chosen charity. While serving, they create a short video documenting their service, explaining how it benefits their community and creates social impact. This video submission officially enters their charity into the competition.
Financial Transparency & Social Impact: The 1-for-1 model supports charities as they participate in the Live Beyond You Service Challenge. Once entered, these charities undertake the 90 Days of Impact Initiative, a filmed charitable competition documenting their efforts as they work to complete a tangible project aligned with their social mission and aimed at alleviating human suffering.
A Win-Win Model: This model benefits everyone involved: fans feel good about their purchase, artists gain support for their music, corporate sponsors and donors can visually see the impact of their funds, and charities receive essential funding to advance their missions.
