Serve
Assemble a service group of 3 or more people — friends, family, coworkers, neighbors. Visit CharityNavigator.org to find a vetted local charity aligned with a cause you genuinely care about. Contact them. Ask for volunteer opportunities. Then show up and serve.

Share
While you serve, capture your experience in a 2-minute video. Show the work. Show the people. Show the impact. This video becomes your nomination — your proof that action happened and your community moved. It doesn't have to be perfect. It has to be real.

Nominate
Upload your video at here and complete the nomination form. Register your service group and the charity you served with. Your act of service officially enters that charity into the challenge for a chance at a grant from Beyond Me Initiative. Your hours become their hope.
After the Nomination
Four Phases of
Community Impact
Phase 1: The Nomination
Your service group gathers, serves, films, and submits. Your nomination officially enters the charity into the challenge. Beyond Me Initiative reviews the submission and invites the charity to submit a $5,000 grant proposal detailing how they'll use the funds.
Phase 2: 90 Days of Impact
Grant-winning charities receive their funds and have 90 days to bring their project to life. Every 30 days, they share a video update with the community — keeping everyone informed, inspired, and connected to the change happening in real time.
Phase 3: Service Fest
We take it to the streets. Our team, artists, and community members coordinate simultaneous impact experiences across multiple communities — a high-energy, all-hands service day. Everyone is welcome to roll up their sleeves and work side by side.
Phase 4: Harmonizing Hope Experience
The grand finale. Think of it as the "Humanitarian Grammys." We celebrate every charity winner, every service group, and every initiator who showed up. There's food, music, keynote speakers, networking, and awards — then the challenge resets and begins again.
